WALT DISNEY’S KANSAS CITY STUDIO SAVED!
Thank You Walt Disney, Inc. is very pleased to announce that it has succeeded in saving the historic site of Walt Disney’s first professional film studio in Kansas City, Missouri! The building which housed Walt’s Laugh-O-Gram studio at 31st and Forrest Streets was very near collapse and had been scheduled for demolition several years ago by the Kansas City Dangerous Buildings office before TYWD acquired it.
